Northern Linen is a dynamic and international trading organization and one of the biggest players in the linen segment of the textile market. The whole process from flax to linen products is controlled from the office in Nijmegen in cooperation with a team in China. We are a flat-structured and no-nonsense organization with 30 employees.
For the SALES department, which currently consists of 3 sales managers and 3 office staff, we are looking for a SALES MANAGER (m/f, 40 hours).
The primary goal of the position is to generate sales from new customers, agents and countries. You are responsible from A to Z for the sales in your countries.
What will you do?
– You visit potential customers and are very actively engaged in expanding our market position. You will advise them about our products. – In addition, together with the other sales managers, you visit various trade fairs in Europe. Of all visits you generate a visit report in our ERP system. – You also prepare the sales plan together with the sales managers. You know what is going on in your region and stay informed of market specific developments. – For new customers you also act as contact person and manage the account.
What do you bring along?
– Relevant education, preferably in textiles, supplemented with relevant work experience. – Good knowledge of Dutch and English spoken and written. – Good knowledge of Office 365 and ERP – Strong commercial drive and a sharp and convincing negotiating and discussion partner
